Delights of Fare.jpg — While in Anoka, Brady and Ryan sit down with 10K's Social Media Manager and Craft Beer Enthusiast Julie McMullen. They start with her journey, from her roots in a non-drinking family to the creation of her Instagram account Delights-of-fare (@delightsoffare) and how she got sucked into beer.
They discuss what she loves about the local craft beer scene: dog friendly taprooms, the community, and the wonderful friends she's made along the way. Julie speaks about her husband Dillon – his role as photographer and his support for their shared passion. The discussion transitions to how she began to work for 10K and how her role has shifted over time.
One of Julie's primary endeavors in the beer community is as one of the creators of the MN Beer Community (@mnbeercommunity) where they host regular MNStameets (#mnstameet) to bring like minded individuals together to create more real and long lasting bonds. A key takeaway is the relationships the group has formed as a result of the craft beer community.
